Dana A. Esposito is employed full-time by the Law Office of Julia M. Brown, LLC, a reputable elder and estate planning law firm in Waterbury, CT. She has been a Legal Assistant/ Accountant with the firm since September 2001. In her full-time position she is responsible for processing home care and nursing home Medicaid applications; administering Probate estates; preparing Estate Planning documents and assisting with developing estate plans; acting as a witness to the signing of legal documents and assisting with tax matters.

Dana studied accounting at Quinnipiac University, Hamden, CT and graduated summa cum laude from Post University, Waterbury, CT with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. After being a tax preparer for over 10 years, in December 2015 Dana earned her Enrolled Agent designation with the Department of the Treasury. In order to become an Enrolled Agent Dana had to pass a rigorous exam testing on taxation of Individuals, taxation of Businesses and Representation, and Practice and Procedures. As an Enrolled Agent Dana has the authority to represent taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service.

Dana founded Esposito Tax Services, LLC in December 2015 where her goal is to utilize all federal and state tax rules and regulations most favorable to her clients. She advises beyond the preparation of the tax return. She helps clients make decisions that increase wealth by considering the tax consequences of current or future events such as paying for college education, retirement, starting a new business or changing a current business structure. Each year Dana well exceeds her continuing education requirements studying current tax law changes that affect individuals and businesses. Dana is a member of the National Association of Tax Professionals (NATP) and the CT NATP.
